San Juan and Santiago Atitlan
This exiting tour adventure starts from your hotel and visits the ancient Mayan villages of San Juan and Santiago Atitlan. The first village we will visit is San Juan la Laguna. As with the tour above one will be able to see and experience the difference between the Mayan Tzutujil and the Kaqchikel, in ancient times bitter enemies.
We'll see many people cloaked in brightly-colored, hand-woven clothing. Along the visit, mostly in the main street, are art galleries filled with oil paintings depicting busy market scenes and typical life in the highlands.
