In San Marcos la Laguna, Lake Atitlan, where our Spanish school is located, the people are very friendly and nice, and San Marcos is generally considered a nice place for Yoga and Meditation in Lake Atitlan. The area is mostly Spanish speaking. Our school is located just 5 minutes from the main dock; we are exactly at the restaurant La Fé.

 

We offer programs for people of all ages and levels of fluency in Spanish. Seniors are welcome to our Spanish programs.

 

The Spanish classes at Akab'al Spanish School are dynamic, teaching grammar while emphasizing conversation. We offer our students the possibility to practice even with a limited knowledge of Spanish. The students will take part in role-plays, conversation exercises and will use a homework book. Our approach is dynamic, creative, and effective and goes beyond basic textbook teachings. The Spanish classes are responsive to the needs of the students.

We additionally offer Cultural tours around Lake Atitlan, We can help students arrange their own trips in the Westen Highlands of Guatemala for weekends and at the end of the course.
